Does It Begin With Chris Jericho?

WrestlingInc.com has the above pic on their site, saying Chris Jericho arrived in Nashville earlier today for tonight's Raw. Jericho's denying it, which makes sense, considering that he's always secretive of his returns. The rumor mill has been going HAM with reports of Jericho being the one behind the "itbegins" videos that have hit the 'Net and WWE programming over the last few weeks.

Now, I won't go in on if it is or isn't Chris, but I do wish he'd return, at least for a little run, but wouldn't be surprised if it was some kind of swerve. Who knows who else might show up tonight, you know? Fingers crossed.

For what it's worth, there is a photo circulating that would appear to show Chris Jericho arriving at an aiport, which is claimed to have been taken at the Memphis Airport last night.

Jericho, naturally, wrote on twitter that it was photoshopped. I guess we'll see soon enough. I'm actually surprised in the sense that I would have figured they would send the private plane to keep him away from being seen at the airport and hide him out in a limo until his time to come out without letting anyone know he was in town, as they usually do for surprises.

R-Truth Catches Wellness Policy Violation, Suspension

With the end of RAW finding Miz putting the Skull-Crushing Finale on his Awesome Truth partner, word has hit today that R-Truth got a 30 day suspension for his first Wellness Policy violation. There's been a grip of controversy regarding Evan Bourne's suspension, as word was that another person was smoking that "Spice" and wa sin the Survivor Series main event, but hadn't been suspended. With today's word, it looks like we found out which participant was caught puffing. I hope the Main Event drew enough to make it worth it, as Evan's suspension gets lifted (no pun intended) on December 1st, I believe.

Word on the Internets is that James Harris, aka Kamala (the Ugandan Giant), recently had to have his foot aputated due to complications with diabetes. I was actually listening to a Tracy Morgan bit, talking about how Black people describe medical ailments, and diabetes was "you know you're gonna have to lose that foot". I actually just reminisced on Kamala briefly during the latest blackrasslin podcast, so this is fucking wild. I already spoke Alicia Fox onto WWE programming, but I wasn't trying to do this. I've copied the complete report from WrestlingInc after the jump. Get well, Kamala.

WrestlingNewsCenter.com reports James Harris, who is known as "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala, had his foot amputated Monday due to complications of high blood pressure and diabetes.
Hollywood Jimmy, a close friend of Harris, wrote Wednesday, "I talked to James today and he's in good spirit. James is a true Memphis Wrestling legend and will be missed in the wrestling world. I had the opportunity to travel up and down the road with James and he's one of the nicest people in the wrestling business. I wish James a speedy recovery and we hope he feels better."
This would likely signal the end of his 37-year career as a professional wrestler, which has included stops in every major promotion including WWE, World Class Championship Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, Mid-South Wrestling, Memphis Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling and the American Wrestling Association. He continued to compete on the independent wrestling circuit in recent years and would occasionally resurface on national television. He last appeared on a national show at TNA Wrestling's Slammiversary pay-per-view event in June 2008, as a guest at Jay Lethal and SoCal Val's wedding.

His last message, published October 14, reads: "Sometime when I'm riding along the highways in my big 18 wheeler I think of a particular moment in wrestling, and I will just hold on to it as long as I can with warmth. Churnin' these out at random! Recorded this one Tuesday morning, mainly because I had to vent my frustration(s) at the sorry state of RAW over the last few weeks. We did a brief recap of the Liverpool RAW from this past Monday, as well as a preview of the 2011 Survivor Series. On Tuesday, I got up from work and decided to walk out and rock another podcast. The result came out great, content-wise, but it was kind of windy, and that picked up. I apologize for that. I had to get this one out, though. I spent time breaking down my hate for R-Truth that turned into genuine marking out everytime he touches a microphone, as well as my appreciation for Dolph Ziggler. Gave some news on what the fuck is popping with the WWE currently, and played some dope music, including new shit from Daniel Joseph & Tone Liv, as well as cuts from Bumpy Knuckles, Action Bronson, Elucid and Deal - The Villain. Bet, here's the second edition of the blackrasslin podcast, just in time for WWE's Vengeance PPV this Sunday. Not only do I give my thoughts on the matches lined up for that event, but I also give my thoughts on the recent #OccupyRAW storyline. Kind of went in, a bit more of a rant from myself. I took some time out to speak about the niggas in the WWE that I left off of my first list on the debut podcast, and give some shine to the one and only Alicia Fox. I highlighted the Urban Wrestling Federation for those who might not be up on it, and played some dope music from The KhemLab, Danny Brown, Wu-Tang Clan and Roc Marciano. All in all, it's more rasslin' from a nigga perspective. And note, I realized after the fact that I said MVP had held the IWGP title, but really, he won a NJPW belt. My fault.
