Is Elijah Burke the perpetual loser or what? How many weeks does he have to lose to guys like Chris Benoit and CM Punk before they realize he needs a new angle? The "New Breed" was cool, although being an old-school ECW fan, I never really thought he could carry the brand, but I like that homeboy stood up and tried to take it, and seemed to get a little push. Nowadays, he's just getting pushed around. Good enough to get beat by the #1 contenders, but not that good...

He's a natural on the mic, and his Elijah Experience has returned to WWE.com, but what is he destined to accomplish, really?

One point I do find interesting: Vince McMahon championed Burke as "The Future of ECW"... and had a pretty huge fued with Bobby Lashley. Is this a trend? Is Vince possibly looking for a Black superstar to wear some major WWE Gold? I'd like to see Burke get the ECW strap, but as of right now, it looks like CM Punk is the anti-hero. Maybe The Paragon of Virtue will get his just do...

PS: I just checked Wikipedia, and I do not get it: is there really just one belt in the ECW right now? Maybe I should e-mail Elijah and find out...
